The food is always excellent
It was really expensive for the portions. The meat orders do not come with rice and vegetables, it's an extra each and frankly $ 8 for a handful of frozen vegetables that makes no sense!
The sweet chicken is worth a visit
I've been going there for over 25 years and it's still just as good!
Great food and ambiance
Surprising!
Their sweet chicken is the best. I eat there since I was a child. I still love her as much.
A little like home
A classic !
Imperial rolls and chicken with sesame in the old bad fat ...Not good.Too expensive paid.
Very good
Chicken Candy excellent beef with divine orange Mongolian noodle wow
EXCELLENT restaurant! As a graduate in progressive cuisine from the hotel school, I consider myself to be the best Szechuan restaurant in Montreal. At first glance the place is not extraordinary but their cuisines are!Try the beef with orange or the ravioli with peanut sauce it is MAJESTIC.The duck with 5 spices is a melting delight in the mouth😘The owners are always on site and very warmI recommend it foodies you will not regret it
Nice food and great service. I went with my friends to celebrate a birthday party and we all had a nice experience.
I have been eating regularly at this restaurant for more than 35 years, that means everything!
Food was good, but somewhat ordinary.
Excellent
Excellent restaurant! Great atmosphere!
Absolutely delicious! Been there several times and each time the food is excellent. The hot and sour soup, the bon bon chicken, and the black bean fish are favourites. Don't let the outdated decor nor the empty places fool you - this place is a gem!
DÉCEPTION, DÉCEPTION, this restaurant has nothing to do with what it was. Very reduced menu, minimum portion and little taste. More than an hour waiting to be served and the dishes we had to share were served one after the other. 🙁
Bring your own wine. If you are a group take several dishes to share.
Very very good
The menu has been simplified. So there is no more duck on the menu. The dishes must now be ordered à la carte; the total price remains roughly the same as before (when the menu offered "combinations" at fixed prices). The quality and service remain the same.
This restaurant had better days. Almost empty at lunch time, what strikes when entering is the decor totally obsolete and especially the smell of dust that literally invades us. The dishes. Entry: rolls dripping with grease. The main dishes: overcooked beef, pieces of pork fat, crispy noodles, etc. Toilet clean but defective. The service is courteous, the bill is light, but not that much considering what was eaten, and what was edible.
Very good restaurant that has been in place for decades. Be patient at lunchtime.
Good, but nothing so special that would justify a detour. Alcohol / wine is outrageously overpriced. Food is good, presentation ok. Nice service. But as I said, walk down St-Laurent and you can find better Chinese restaurants. If your are planning to go for a show to the adjacent Place des Arts (as we did) it is a viable option but be sure to reserve enough time as a sign in the entrance clearly states that the service will not be faster because you have a show. When we booked, we were told to be there before 18:30 to be finished by 20h for the show. We actually left the place at 19:40 and only 4 tables were occupied...
The service, the food, everything is excellent! I have subscribed to this restaurant for at least 6-7 years!
An establishment that has been established since the mid-80s, where the owner receives us by asking for news of children, parents. Without doubt one of the best and very underestimated Asian restaurants on the island of Montreal.
A family business, this restaurant has been in existence for at least 2 decades and continues to satisfy local customers. Varied and simple dishes, very good and perfect for those who have pockets less hollow than the small officials who work around.
I like the Crispy Maple Beef best. It will be good if the portion can be bigger. This restaurant is a Shechuan style Chinese Restaurant Majority of the dishes are spicy but the chef can moderate the spiciness according to the request of your preference.Nice ambiance and good friendly service 👍
